Our story
Inspired by the Iberian ibex
Montesa takes its name and spirit from the Iberian ibex — the agile, resilient wild goat of the Iberian mountains. Like the ibex, we look for authentic paths and a simple, balanced way of connecting people with nature.
Our brand was born among the valleys and summits of Alto Minho and the Peneda-Gerês National Park, Portugal’s only National Park. We are based in Arcos de Valdevez, 1 hour from Porto.
